Emily Hartsuiker, DPT
For the month of October, let's make a splash with presenting Emily Hartsuiker, DPT as the spotlight aquatic APTA member of the month. She is the main aquatic PT at a privately owned outpatient clinic, working with orthopedic and geriatric patients. Emily has been an aquatic PT for 3 years, with some time in Knoxville, now in Greer, SC. You will find her outside of the clinic in the great outdoors either hiking or biking with her children, or in her garden. Her interest began when observing an aquatic therapist and saw her love for the patients and helped so many people that thought they could not get better or had failed at therapy before. Emily became a member to gain access to most up-to-date resources and participate in a field that is not as well known as others.
