Maureen Rinehimer PT, Ph.D., MS, MHS
Maureen Rinehimer PT, Ph.D., MS, MHS practices as a PT in a Pro Bono Outpatient Clinic (using the university pool), NICU, Early intervention at Misericordia University, St. Luke's (easton, PA, Pa Northhamption, Carbon and Lackawanna Counties. She is an Assistant Professor at Misercordia University and faculty with students in a Pro Bono Pediatric Clinic, PT in the NICU, and EI therapist. Maureen has been in the aquatics field for 25 plus years. She at one point was a synchronized swimmer for 7 years and a lifeguard for 6 years, participation in aquatic athletics sparked her interest for aquatic PT. The most enjoyable part of aquatic Physical Therapy is watching the children have fun while accomplishing therapeutic goals. Becoming a member of the APTA Aquatics chapter was to gain the most up to date information and Maureen had a research group project for aquatic therapy. When Maureen is not enjoying her time treating patients, she is enjoying her time traveling, swimming when she can, reading, playing with her pup Jameson, cooking, and wine tasting.
