Member Spotlight: Jo Ann Ferido-Agapito, DPT
Help us spotlight Jo Ann Ferido-Agapito, DPT. She works in Delaware in the division of Developmental Disabilities as the Lead Physical Therapist. She has been in the profession for the last 24 years. Jo Ann enjoys walking on the beach, scrapbooking, and traveling. Her interest in Aquatic Physical Therapy began when she was seeking alternative treatments for her clients with developmental disabilities that have neurological (including seizures), musculoskeletal (severe postural deformities), behavioral, and other disorders. She enjoys the ability to perform hands-on therapy, have the ability for the client to be at less risk for falls, promote clients' relaxation and do therapy simultaneously, and facilitate the client's mobility in a fun or recreational environment.
